Just a VFX study!
Got into VFX recently thanks to a friend of mine so i decided to mess around with some shaders and make some real time VFX just for fun!
This one was quite easy to make, I just used the half of a sphere for the projectile and everything else is just textures with a couple shaders I made for distortion and texture scrolling.
Really enjoying making explosive stuff in Unity so far!

I wanted it to be a slow moving gooey ball that exploded and infected people around it.
The projectile itself is just a half of a sphere with a texture over it, i made a shader so the texture could have distortion and look like a goo of some sort.
Used a trail system to make the green smoke behind it and the particle system for the rest
The explosion was quite easy, made the textures in photoshop and then made a shader with alpha clipping turned on and a custom data so the skull could dissipate trough its lifetime, same with the goo puddle.
