Water Shuriken - VFX Study

Just a VFX Study!
This was the first projectile i made after learning some stuff about unity's particle system, special thanks to Gabriel Aguiar, learned everything from him on Udemy, go check him out!
Wanted to make something based off the water shuriken that Greninja uses in Smash Bros Ultimate, but i wanted it to be fast like a real shuriken throw!

I was playing smash bros and pokemon unite, and I tought that would be fun to try and make a water shuriken based of the one greninja uses!

The projectile itself is very simple, the shuriken is a mesh, the bubbles and vortex behind it were made with the particle system, the wavy water was made with a trail system.

The impact is made of a spritesheet for the water jumping out, all the rest is made with particles, made a shader so i could add a little distortion to the water texture that appears briefly.

Originally the shuriken was going to be just a texture, but i decided on a mesh in the end because i wanted it to spin nicely
